Eternal Impact

Church family,

Could it be that we have a tremendous opportunity to make a difference in lives for ETERNITY?

This morning I read a quote from W.A. Criswell:
Ready For Harvest: Jesus said, “The fields are white unto the harvest.” People who need to be won to the Lord are legion in number. The whole world is just waiting for someone to say, “We would love to have you; we are interested in you. This is God’s place, and we are God’s people. The Lord meets with us. Come and join us.” The fields are white, the opportunities are great, and God calls us to be people who extend a welcoming hand to the people around us.

Would you be willing to make that invite?

Maybe there are children and students in your community that would be open to attending VBS this coming week. They can register online @coweebaptist.org.

If you use Facebook, go to this event, https://www.facebook.com/events/263616524102640, share it on your Facebook timeline, click on share and invite friends by selecting from your friend list, send a message to them, text or call.

We have so many tools at our disposal. Let’s use them all in these moments.

Maybe a family that you work with would be open to come to church if you just asked, if you just let them know we care.

Maybe your own family would come with a simple invite…

Pray for those that might walk in our church this week for the first time. Pray for kids who will hear the Gospel this week at VBS. Be part of the answer to that prayer and extend the invitation to join us.

Until the whole world hears,

Pastor Jason

Great Events This Fall To Sign Up For Now

Church Family,

Hope you are having a great week!

Wanted to let you know of three great opportunities coming up this fall that sign up is taking place for now. Take a moment to check out these events and sign up now to reserve your spot.

The Gem’s still have a few spots left for the Fall Jubilee in Gatlinburg September 19-21.  The cost is $300/Person and includes tickets and lodging in a great cabin in Gatlinburg. Featuring Johnny Hunt, Junior Hill, Guy Penrod, Mark Lowry, The Hoppers, Cathedral Family Reunion and more great artists. For more information and to sign up contact Middie McSwain (mamcswain@gmail.com) or Vern Davis (veandavis@aol.com). For more information about the event visit http://www.jubileeconferences.com/fall2016/index.html.

We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more! Beginning Wednesday, August 31, classes will meet for an hour and a half each week for nine weeks. The cost is $99.00 / couple for a membership kit, with lots of useful tools. (The price may decrease as the number of signups increase with a group pricing.) Limited financial scholarships are available to help offset cost, as needed. Ed and Shelly Rewis will facilitate this class. Respond to this email or contact the church office to sign up or for more information.

Presale tickets available for the Marriage Tune Up Conference that will be coming to Franklin sponsored by Heart for Families at a discounted rate of $20/person for this week only.  Limited tickets available FREE for Law Enforcement and Full-Time First Responders. Contact Pastor Jason to sign up or for more information.

Looking forward to worshipping together Sunday!
